about me.

hi, i'm cait — a perth-based singer, and musician with a slight obsession for creating moments people remember long after the last song ends.

i perform alongside a band of incredibly talented humans who are dangerously good at making music. together, we specialise in moments that make you laugh, sway, and dance like no one’s watching. weddings, parties, secret gigs in living rooms—we’re here to sprinkle a little magic, maybe cause a little chaos, and guarantee that by the end of the night your feet will file a formal complaint.

for me, music has always been about connection. whether i'm performing my own songs, reimagining cult classics, or reading the room to find the perfect song for the moment, my goal is always the same: to create an atmosphere that feels genuine, joyful, and a little bit magical.

when i'm not performing, i'm usually teaching music, studying, writing new material, or arranging music for my next project. i'm passionate about helping others discover their own love of music, and i find just as much joy in watching a student grow in confidence as i do performing on stage.

at the heart of everything i do is a simple goal: to bring people together. whether that's through a live performance, or a lesson, i hope to leave people feeling a little happier, a little more connected, and maybe with a tune they'll still be humming on the drive home!

in my teaching journey, i'm guided by a deep-rooted belief in the immense value of each student and their unique journey. central to my approach is creating a nurturing environment where every individual feels seen, heard, and respected. through open communication and genuine empathy, i strive to build strong connections with my students, fostering a sense of trust and belonging.

i cherish the diversity of perspectives and experiences that each student brings to the table, understanding that it enriches our learning community in profound ways. by actively listening and encouraging dialogue, i create a safe space where students feel empowered to express themselves authentically and explore their interests freely.

i'm passionate about engaging students through interactive and experiential learning, igniting their curiosity and inspiring a love for exploration. i encourage them to take ownership of their learning journey, fostering a growth mindset that celebrates both successes and failures as essential steps towards growth.

as a lifelong learner myself, i'm committed to continual growth and reflection, constantly seeking new ways to evolve and innovate in my teaching practice. together, let's embark on a journey of discovery and growth, where every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
